The Devine Years: 1975-80 At Notre Dame

Dan Devine coached Notre Dame football from 1975-80, won a national championship and introduced one of the great quarterbacks of all time to the American sports stage. Yet, to fans who weren’t around that period, his only exposure has been to be falsely portrayed as the bad guy in the movie Rudy. It’s time to let facts trump myth.
