Five seasons. Three AFC titles. Two Super Bowl wins. One perfect year.
Pro football came late to Miami, but once Don Shula arrived, it came fast.
From 1970 through 1974, the Miami Dolphins put together one of the most dominant five-year runs in NFL history. They made the playoffs all five seasons, won three AFC championships, captured two Super Bowl titles, and in 1972 authored the only undefeated championship season in the Super Bowl era. This collection tells the game-by-game narrative of that story.

The Foundation of a Dynasty
The Dolphins didn’t rely on gimmicks or flash. They won with balance, discipline, and relentless execution. Bob Griese provided steadiness at quarterback. Larry Csonka powered the offense. Mercury Morris and Jim Kiick added speed and versatility. Paul Warfield stretched the field. And a disciplined, physical defense — anchored by Nick Buoniconti, Dick Anderson, and Jake Scott — controlled games.
At the center of it all was Don Shula, whose adaptability and command built a team that could win in any style, under any conditions.
